Jillian Stockburger has made Quesnel her home for over10 years. She has obtained a Master of Arts in Applied Legal Studies from Simon Fraser University and is a member of the Society of Notaries Public. Jillian was a top student in her notary education, receiving the Professor Robert Reid Award for achieving the highest mark on the Real Property Examination and the ERAssure Award for achieving the highest mark on the Wills and Trusts Examination. She is happy to combine her knowledge of Quesnel real estate, and her Master’s level education to open her new practice as a Notary Public in Quesnel in June of 2017.
Prior to living in Quesnel, Jillian resided in Prince George where she completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Planning at the University of Northern British Columbia. She had the opportunity to author numerous published research studies on health and social well-being while working as a researcher at UNBC for four years. She moved to Quesnel in 2007 and has enjoyed our friendly and welcoming community every since!
Jillian Stockburger has always enjoyed working with the law and helping people understand legal documents. Prior to her commissioning as a Notary Public she worked at the City of Quesnel as a City Planner. She learned that she loved working with people as they bought their first home and had questions about what they could build or how they could change it. With no practicing member of the Society of Notaries Public of BC in Quesnel she saw an exciting opportunity to make a difference in her community. Sitting with clients one-on-one and helping them reach their goals is what makes Jillian love her work as a Notary Public.
